Interior design trends that will disappear this 2024
1 • All-white kitchens (boring)
This is in the past, it’s time to have a more creative kitchen with more color and texture. To give you an idea of how to start introducing a touch of color in your kitchen, the Pantone color of the year 2024 may be the ideal color, an apricot tone that combines perfectly with neutral colors and represents good energy, a refreshing style and a restorative feeling.
2 • No more open concept!
As a result of the pandemic, families were forced to spend much more time at home, and with this the desire and need for separate rooms has increased. People long to have their own space adapted to their needs, their privacy, and open concept designs do not allow us this. So, the open concept is closed to the public.
3 • Fewer gray days, more days with color
In recent years, gray tones have been among the most dominant, but what was once a quite elegant and sophisticated combination, today feels monotonous, exhausting and lifeless. Given that we now tend to spend more time at home, warm-neutral colors warm the interiors more, such as beige, amber, ocher or terracotta, so we should consider them for 2024.
4 • More personality!
The trends in 2023 experienced several changes that moved away from minimalism, simple interiors were surpassed by a wide variety of colors to liven up the spaces. But in 2024, it is expected that cutting-edge concepts will have a prominent role. The trend this year will focus on creating spaces that reflect the personality and lifestyle of their occupants.
